Micshon D. Anderson
Micshon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts, Major in Justice Studies and a minor in Sociology from Georgia Southern University, Statesboro, GA.
She’s an active member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS International) and the IAVM- AVSS – Academy for Venue Safety & Security. She is a published author and has been featured in such industry related publications as the IAVM-AVSS newsletter.
Micshon has over 27 years of professional experience in the Public Safety/Security field. For over 15 years, she’s managed the Public Safety/Security Division for the No. 1 ranked convention, sports, and entertainment destination in the world; the Georgia World Congress Center located in the heart of Atlanta, Ga. Leading in an ever-changing situational venue, Micshon gained extensive knowledge in customer service and public safety operations which translated, seamlessly, into the Hospitality industry.
Micshon has been responsible for multi-fund budgets of up to $2.5 million. She has experience in all aspects of financial forecasting, resource allocation, budget management, accounting and payroll control as well as Human Resource Operations.
